I Hate Technology

Recently I had to update my email on all my accounts, keys, and more, and this quite simple to do, you simply open up a terminal, run the following commands and you’re able to add a new email/uid to the GPG key: gpg --edit-key <key id here> gpg> adduid gpg> uid <uid here> gpg> primary gpg> save But there comes a large amount of pain and frustration when it comes anything related to git if you want to remove a email or uid from a key....

Why I Use Sourcehut

A few people I know were asking why I prefer Sourcehut over more popular Git hosting services such as Github or even Gitlab. There’s a few reasons why I’ve started using it and prefering it more than more popular services, and this post should hopefully clear up why exactly I prefer to use it over other services as of recently. Internet Insensitivity

I think it’s time to talk about the internet and insensitivity. This is something that I’ve personally noticed moderating or taking part in Discord servers, and other online internet communities and platforms. In specific I’m talking about people valuing or idolizing their own beliefs or opinions on something over the comfort or feelings of the community. Regarding Cancel Culture

One very present thing in the world of social media happens to be the phenomenon known as cancel culture. It’s quite literally everywhere you look, but it is most prominent on websites and apps such as twitter. The Endless Cycle

One thing that often happens to me is I’ll start a project looking forward to seeing it’s completion, and then later in the project’s lifetime I’ll give up, scrap the project, and start a new one. This happens over and over again, and it’s honestly emotionally exhausting. This is partially due to being in a loop of “this code isn’t good enough”, which in result can cause things like imposter syndrome, lack of motivation, and similar, a great explaination of this is a xkcd comic named Good Code....
